Customer Account Management and License Management for IoT Products company

Litmus is an IoT solutions provider serving industrial businesses with technologies for predictive maintenance, remote monitoring and asset management. As its customer base and connected devices grew, managing customer accounts, device access, subscriptions, licenses and usage became increasingly complex.

To streamline these operations, a centralized Customer Account Management and License Management system was developed. The platform enabled Litmus to manage customer accounts, automate license processes, monitor usage, simplify billing and provide customers with greater control over their IoT services.

Key problems

Litmus faced several challenges as its IoT ecosystem expanded:

  1. Complex Account Management: Managing customers with multiple devices, locations, subscriptions and access levels was difficult.
  2. License Tracking: Monitoring different license types, renewals and expiration dates manually increased compliance risks.
  3. Device Provisioning: Provisioning and deprovisioning devices and services according to customer subscriptions was inefficient.
  4. Billing & Usage Tracking: Tracking device usage, data consumption and service utilization made accurate billing challenging.
